.kg ccTLD Background
ICANN has approved .kg as the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Kyrgyzstan, a country in Central Asia. Introduced in 1995, the .kg registration service is sponsored by AsiaInfo Telecommunication Enterprise.
.kg Domain Name Registration Rules
Individuals and organizations registering under the .kg registration zone must follow the registration agreement of the Kyrgyzstan domain name registry. Alphanumeric characters, Roman alphabet and digits can be used for naming domains. Use Roman alphabet or a digit at the beginning and end.
An unlimited number of SLD (Second Level Domains) can be registered by any entity, including individuals and various types of organizations (private and public).

- .com.kg : commercial
- .net.kg : networking sites
- .edu.kg : institutions
