What is the purpose of .club.tw domains?

The club.tw is a domain for companies and organizations associated with Taiwan. The registry is sponsored and maintained by TWNIC (Taiwan Network Information Center) and the actual registrations are done by commercial registrars from other parts of the world. Neulevel, an America telecommunication and Information Technology Company has entered into a partnership with TWNIC to make the .club.tw available outside Taiwan.

Registrants are not allowed to make use of the club.tw domain name provided by TWNIC for purposes other than those specified by the rules and regulations. Any organization that satisfies the required conditions stated by TWNIC can register a .club.tw domain name and the registration process involves signing the Domain Name Registration Agreement. It is important that the DNRA agreement include all the necessary and current information for registration purposes, and that all the information in the document is accurate. If the provided information is found to be incorrect, TWNIC can cancel the domain. At any time, TWNIC can request the applicant to produce any required documents for verification purposes.

The club.tw domain name registration process is completed on a first come, first serve basis, with no reservations for the registrations permitted. The applicant is entitled a club.tw domain name only when the registration procedure is complete. Once a domain is registered, if any information needs to be updated or corrected, the registrant must re-declare that the domain name does not violate any third party interests, as this will cause reevaluation. In the case of a domain name transfer, deletion or registration correction, TWNIC states that the parties involved need to submit all necessary registration documents and sufficient proof of identity. In addition, any matter between a customer and a registrar that is not related to domain name registration, will not be the responsibility of TWNIC.
